A Letters Home Keepsake Hardcover costs $99 for up to 150 pages, plus $0.45 for each additional page. Shipping and tax are calculated at checkout. If you already have saved Gmail emails, importing them, reviewing the collection, and preparing an in-app book preview are free.

Ongoing email collection is a separate option: $49 once per collection to continue collecting after the eligible free trial. That fee does not buy a printed book.

Here is how those costs fit together. These examples use our current pricing; check that page and your final checkout quote before ordering.

Start With the Emails You Have

If your mission emails are already saved in Gmail, you can upload an archive, review and edit the letters and photos, and prepare a book preview without paying a collection fee. You can add more saved-email uploads as needed, one import at a time. This option does not include ongoing email forwarding.

If you want to send or forward new emails into an ongoing collection, your first eligible collection includes a five-email trial with photos and an in-app book preview, with no card needed. Continuing costs $49 once, with no subscription. Additional ongoing collections cost $49 each.

You do not need to purchase ongoing collection to import an existing archive. If you have already paid for ongoing collection, do not add that fee again when budgeting for a printed copy from the same collection.

Estimate the Printed Book From Its Page Count

The Keepsake Hardcover has 8.5 × 11-inch pages. Each printed copy is purchased separately.

Finished page countPrice for one hardcover before shipping and tax
150 pages$99.00
200 pages$121.50
300 pages$166.50

For a book longer than 150 pages, the calculation is $99 + ($0.45 × the number of pages above 150). A 200-page book has 50 additional pages: 50 × $0.45 = $22.50, added to the $99 base price.

A shorter book still falls within the $99 price for up to 150 pages. The number of emails does not tell you the page count: a long letter may span several pages, and photos take space too. Set up your book and generate the preview before settling on a print budget.

Two Example Budgets

These are hypothetical examples, not customer orders or final checkout quotes. Both exclude shipping and tax and assume no discounts or credits.

Saved Gmail Emails and One 200-Page Book

You upload an existing archive, check the imported letters, and prepare a 200-page book.

ItemCost
Saved-email import, review, and in-app preview$0.00
One 200-page hardcover$121.50
Subtotal before shipping and tax$121.50

Two copies of that same book would cost $243.00 before shipping and tax. There is no saved-email collection fee to add for the second copy.

Paid Ongoing Collection and One 200-Page Book

You choose to continue an ongoing email collection after the trial, then order a 200-page book from it.

ItemCost
One-time ongoing collection fee$49.00
One 200-page hardcover$121.50
Combined cost before shipping and tax$170.50

The $49 may have been paid earlier. If so, the remaining book purchase in this example is $121.50 before shipping and tax. The collection fee is not charged again for each printed copy.

Check the Proof Before You Commit

Before ordering, check the latest preview for missing letters, duplicate emails, repeated reply chains, and photos you did not intend to include. Correcting those can change the page count. Use our mission book proofreading checklist to work through the final review.

If you choose to print only selected letters, keep the full archive separately and label the book as a selection. Make those choices with the writer's permission, including who should receive copies.

Confirm the final page count, quantity, shipping, and tax before paying. A budget based on an earlier preview may change if you add letters or photos later.

If your emails are already saved, start a free saved-email collection. Follow our Gmail import guide, review what came across, and see your book before deciding whether to print.
